Fisk & Færdigt

A healthy and delicious lunch box.

I’m almost ready for my trip to China. I’m traveling via Dubai so Poul and I can have a couple of days together and discuss all the last minute details regarding the wedding. Before I leave for the airport today, I’ll have the lovely lunch,I bought yesterday from the Fisk & Færdigt.

Fisk & Færdigt

I’ve mentioned Fisk & Færdigt several times earlier in my blog since it’s my absolute favorite fish dealer in Copenhagen. In addition to their yummu  oven ready lunch/dinner boxes they have all sorts of fish and seafood treats such as smoked cod roe and shrimp salad.

Lots of other nice stuff.

Nothing like a good fish monger!
Hope you have a great flight and manage to get some studying done.

Okay… what exactly is in your lunch box? I think I recognize the carrots and green leafy thing, but that’s about it. Is it a seafood type of thing? Squid?

Yep, it’s plaice. Though, it needs 20 minutes in the oven to become edible. You were right about the carrots and the green stuff is parsley:)

Plaice? I had to Google that to figure out what it is hahaha!

I used a Danish-English oline dictionary for the translation, so it might be wrong. Plaice is called “rødspætte” in Danish. It’s this flat fish with both eyes on one side of the “head”…

You are a busy lady, wish I could be there for the wedding! :)

If you happen to be in Denmark at that time, you are most welcome:)

Thank you for the invitation Mitzie. Norway is the home of my ancestors, a visit to all the scandinavian countries, much less for the two of yours up coming celebration would indeed be wonderful! :)
