Friday

Finally tea time!

My suitcase has finally arrived and I have unpacked all my stuff. This time, I brought some Kusmi Tea that I bought back in Copenhagen, since I haven’t seen it anywhere here in Dubai. I love Kusmi Tea and I am almost addicted to their Anastasia taste, which is both fruity and flowery at the same time.

Chinese take-away.

Since none of us felt like cooking dinner tonight, we ordered Chinese take away. It was quite greasy and without much flavor, but it filled its purpose. Tomorrow though, we will cook something ourselves.

    Hi Mitzie,
OMG; I know what that is like to arrive w/o suitcase. It happened last year coming back from the US. Mine was delivered to my home(Thanks again, United airlines!).

I have the same feeling, unpacking goodies from a trip. I have never tried Kusmi; very popular in France. I brought Lupicia(Japanese brand)from Hawaii. We chose apricot and a Hawaiian blend, passion fruit & ginger. http://www.lupiciausa.com/

    Happy weekend to you! :)

Apricot tea sounds delicious. I have never heard about Lupicia before but their webpage looks promising. I can see that they also got a lot of green and white teas…me like!

It’s funny that Chinese food looks the same everywhere. Plus, I love the Coke can. I love seeing Coke cans from all over the world. :)

Haha…yeah, you’re absolutely right…though at some places it tastes better than at others. I got the best Chinese at Ollie’s in New York. Though, I’ve never been to China, only Taiwan. Maybe Chinese food doesn’t even look Chinese? :)

Actually, in Korea where I am now, the Chinese food is very different. It’s only eaten in the north of China, or maybe not even there. Your picture looked like what I got in Canada and America though.

That’s what I suspected. When I think about it, I actually recall that the Chinese food in Korea was a bit different. There were these thick noodles in thick brown sauce, which I heard was a kind of “Chinese” food only found in Korea?
